Danae - Greek mythology inspired

The last few weeks were crazy for me, I was extremely busy with my catching-up on work, scheduling my time to be able to keep up with what I want to do - of course, with jewelry as one important task in my day :).

So I have been trying to figure out which style/trend I should create/follow for my jewelry - well, less sparkling stuff like Swarovski and beads and more mature-look focused like gems, metals, etc... And somehow it becomes more challenge for me to come up with new work piece, at least I feel so :).

Ok enough with the whining - let's meet our latest complete set of jewelry - DANAE:

Why "DANAE"?

"Once upon the time, there was a king in ancient Greek named Acrisius, he had a very beautiful daughter named Danae. One day, he decided to lock her up in the bronze tower with no door and only small window, with hope that she wouldn't be able to get married and have children that could harm him - according to the oracle predicted. However, the bronze tower couldn't prevent her beauty radiant across the sea to capture the heart of Poseidon - god of Sea. And then, a baby was born - a great hero - Perseus..."

And hence, I create this collection with inspiration from the beauty - Danae who has Poseidon's heart and love, devoting herself to love and bringing to the world one of the greatest hero in the mythology - Perseus (at least this is the only hero that was alive without being poisoned or cursed by other gods :)). With the navy blue as main color in the collection - DANAE was made based on blessing from the sea on their love and pure golden heart of a princess whose mind and beauty was not imprisoned within the bronze tower.

What do we have in this collection?

Earrings
Bracelet
