Well well well, I had a hard time with my polymer clay materials. Last week I ran out of White clay, and unfortunately, my supplier also ran out of Premo White Clay - which was only sold in this specific supplier in Tel Aviv. How cool!!! I had to take Fimo instead - and my bad, i took Fimo SOFT instead of CLASSIC type, hence in the end I couldn't work with it. It was just TOO soft to not get sticky all over the place, not to mention about ruining my entire works and mood. Later, when I couldn't bear it anymore, I decided to challenge myself by running around other suppliers' places with hope of finding the right type. Haiz, it seemed luck also decided to get some rest on those days, leaving me with only one choice - FIMO EFFECT :((... you can imagine how it works - very sparkling but no more, and damn sticky hic hic (T_T)"...
So it explained a lot for the reason why the last weekend I didn't work so much and update my blog. Surfing internet for oversea supplier and watching movie in the cinema would be a good choice for me, at least this time :). Maybe the idea of buying a bunch of polymer clay from oversea won't be a bad idea after all.

Last weekend I went to watch "Letters to Juliet" with my husband. It happened to be a nice movie, even though the chemistry between 2 main characters was a little awkward. Anyway, I like it, especially their journey around Italy - one of must-go places in my travel list... Start dreaming again....
OK, let's go back to my work. Finally today the stock was back, and I got my Premo White Clay - one of basic color if you ask me. Moreover, my dear friend - T- sent me a link of polymer clay tutoring in Korean - very interesting though to be honest, I had no idea what was written there. Never mind, at least they had nice photos to look at :). So I spent most of my morning going through the website, trying to learn more tips. Thank my friend so much for this! I love it!
In the end, I tried myself successfully in making canes of bananas, kiwi, strawberry, apples and sandwiches for my future project - sorry I won't be able to upload the photos with this post, maybe tomorrow I will. Wait until tomorrow to see my new works :). For now, may I introduce you to my new version of Little Donuts Earrings - Strawberry and Chocolate. Isn't it yummy?

Oh, before I go to sleep, just a little introduction about my packaging style - in case some of us didn't know how Ophira's Jewelry packs little cute jewelry. It's origami self designed box with little purple ribbon to tie up, together with small gift card (for you to write the message). 4 sides of the box have our logo, website and information. In the bottom will be a message saying "Made in Vietnam", which shows how even more special the box is. Cool, isn't it?
Don't wait until too late for signing up our mailing list to keep updates on sales, new items, limited discount coupons and other Birthday giveaways....
I will be more delighted to receive your comments and messages on my blog, or just drop me email at minh@ophirasjewelry.com as usual.
Have a great week and see you soon!
